Morphsuits

Morphsuits.com trades its products mostly via the web. Its strong presence in social media allows cost effective branding, leading to online sales.

Objectives:

To redirect Facebook users to the company’s 7 fan pages, via ASU ads, in order to become fans of the brand. Target Cost per Fan was $0.60.


Approach:

Pull audience insights from testing multiple ad variations. Test to determine the most appealing type of image, specific demographics interested in the brand as well as best call-to-action. Distribute budget between “test” and “production” campaigns. 20% of the budget is spent on testing new ad variations, while proven high performance ads receive the majority of impressions, on a “Top 5 Ads” scheme. Ensure that users in different parts of the world are targeted with the most appropriate message.

Results:

Over the course of a 6 week campaign, Cost per Fan started at $1.15 and came down to $0.15. The average was $0.32, roughly 50% below target. Facebook fan acquisition now makes up 95% of Morphsuits marketing spend and generates millions of pounds of sales per year.
